I think garlic bread is one of my favorite foods. I LOVE my bread! Garlic bread or just bread and butter is often a staple with pasta. These Italian Seasoned Pita Chips are a nice change and easy to make. Plus, you gotta love some crunch!
I am giving you the basics here with using Italian seasoning and a little garlic salt, but you could play with the seasonings with whatever inspires you to go along with other meals. Or just use olive oil, no seasoning, and use them to scoop up some great hummus.
Yes, the oven goes on – but just for a short time! These Italian Seasoned Pita Chips go great with Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Peas.
- Don’t have a pastry or basting brush? Use a spoon to spread oil.

1 6” Whole Wheat Pita Breads

Bake for 9-10 minutes. Watch carefully as they will go from crisp to burnt quickly.
